Infinite Minds Academy: Empowering Neurodiverse Youths

As part of our commitment to building inclusive communities, Hong Leong Foundation proudly supports Infinite Minds Academy in empowering neurodiverse youths. Through digital skills training, hands-on studio experience, and entrepreneurial exposure, participants are equipped to thrive in the creative economy.

In conjunction with Autism Awareness Day on 2 April, we celebrate their journeys, building confidence, creating market-ready digital content and merchandise, and forging pathways towards greater independence. Designed to bridge the gap between learning and employability, the programme integrates technical training with real-world experience to empower neurodiverse youths to thrive.

Programme Highlights:
Hands-on Digital Training: Animation, multimedia design, and content creation
Youth-Operated Studio: Participants produce real-world content featured on MYTV, YouTube, and other platforms
Entrepreneurial Skills: Online marketing, client engagement, and income-generating opportunities through merchandise such as tote bags and calendars via BeamWorks
Expert Guidance: Led by Ms. Kiren Kaur, blending special needs education with IT expertise
Impact & Inclusion: Supports underprivileged and neurodiverse youths, promoting independence and meaningful participation in the digital economy

Led by Ms. Kiren Kaur, an experienced practitioner in special needs education and Information Technology, Infinite Minds Academy adopts a holistic and inclusive approach to training. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping a programme that is both structured and impactful.

This initiative exemplifies Hong Leong Foundation’s commitment to inclusive communities, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities). By equipping neurodiverse youths with digital skills and entrepreneurial pathways, the programme supports greater independence, reduces long-term dependency, and enables meaningful participation in the digital economy.
