After joining Program UMAMI*, Hafizur rebranded his venture as The RotiSmith and introduced sourdough and artisanal bakes to Miri’s local scene. In February 2025, he opened his own bakery, blending flavour, skill, and creativity into a thriving community favourite.

*Program Umami (Usahawan Makanan Miri) is an initiative by Hong Leong Foundation in partnership with SAGO Group, aimed at supporting aspiring food entrepreneurs across Sarawak.
