Manager /Senior Manager, REIT Operations (Facilities / Property Management)

We’re hiring a Real Estate professional to oversee a portfolio of commercial assets with our listed REIT.

This role suits candidates who are comfortable taking full ownership of operational performance, working across property teams and vendors to drive execution, enforce standards, and deliver results across multiple sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Oversee and drive operational performance across multiple commercial buildings
– Own and enforce OPEX & CAPEX budgeting cycles, including consolidation, tracking, and variance control
– Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to operational standards across all sites
– Manage and direct vendors and site teams to deliver against contractual KPIs and service expectations
– Oversee maintenance strategies, retrofits, and capital works execution
– Identify risks and improvement opportunities, and implement practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability performance, and asset value
– Drive standardisation and process discipline across the portfolio
– Deliver sustainability and efficiency initiatives (e.g. energy usage, operational improvements)
– Ensure consistent application of regulatory and industry frameworks in daily operations
– Lead digital transformation and change management initiatives, including transitioning manual processes to FM systems (e.g. ServeDeck or similar)
– Work closely with Finance, Leasing, and Compliance teams

REQUIREMENTS:
– Degree in Building Surveying, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related discipline
– Experience managing a portfolio of assets (minimum 3 buildings)
– Proven ability to own and drive budgeting outcomes (not just reporting)
– Strong grounding in compliance, audits, and Malaysian statutory requirements
– Experience managing site teams and vendors across multiple locations
– Prior involvement in FM system implementation or digitalisation initiatives
– Experience participating in system rollout projects, with readiness to step into a lead/driver role
– Hands-on, structured approach with strong follow-through
– Comfortable operating in a high ownership and accountability environment
– Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to asset performance
– Demonstrated ownership, drive, and commitment to delivering outcomes
