Mammogram Promotion
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Malaysia and worldwide. According to the Malaysia National Cancer Registry (2017–2021), half of breast cancer cases are diagnosed at late stages (Stage 3 or 4).
A mammogram remains the gold standard for early detection. For women aged 40 to 74, it is recommended once every two years.
Beacon Hospital, equipped with the Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM)
system, is offering digital mammograms at a subsidised rate of RM69 for women aged 40 and above.
